We are so happy you have stopped by our site.  We realize if you are planning to visit King of Glory you may have some questions about what to expect.  Below is a list of commonly asked questions and answers.  Where appropriate you will find links to additional information.

Q: What time is worship and how long does it run?
A: Worship services take place at 8:15am and 10:45am on Sunday mornings.  A typical service lasts about 50-60 minutes.

Q: How often is communion celebrated?
A: Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of the month at the 8:15am service and on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 10:45am service.  On months with a 5th Sunday, communion is celebrated at both services.

Q: Can I take communion if I’m not a member?

Q: What kind of attire should I wear?
A: We have wide range of attire at King of Glory.  You will find some folks in ties and dress while other will be in jeans and t-shirts.  What is most important is that you are there, so come as you are!

Q: What do I need to bring?  Do I need a bible?
A: All you really need to bring is yourself. We advocate taking notes and writing in your bible as God speaks to you. Taking notes and writing in your Bible helps us to hear and learn better and creates a wonderful gift to pass on one day to your family members as a testimony of faith.

Q: What does it mean to be a member of King of Glory?
A:   Being a member of King of Glory means you are a regular and active participant in the life of the church.  It also means that you believe and understand the faith as taught by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and share in our confession of faith.

Q: How do I become a member of King of Glory?
A: New member classes are offered periodically throughout the year.  This class, called “Basics of the Faith” covers the basics of Lutheran theology.  After completion of the class, participants will be recognized by the congregation during a worship service.
